Avery S. Gitchell

Avery S. Gitchell, 14 of Windsor died unexpectedly on Sun. Nov. 6, 2016.  He is survived by his mother, Sarah Gitchell & Mark Carey, his father, Jay Gitchell & family, grandparents, Audrey Matias & Patrick Cleary, Rigoberto Lopez, Jim & Gerry Eaton, beloved uncle & aunt, Andy & Minea Matias, and also many other loving and caring family and friends.  He was a 9th grade student at Windsor Central Schools.  He loved his art, was a member of the Windsor Swim Team, Track and Field Team. 

Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Friday at 5 p.m.  Private burial will be in Knox Cemetery, Ouaquaga at the convenience of the family.  The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. prior to service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to:  Windsor Central Schools 1191 NY Rte. 79 Windsor, NY  13865 for programs to help teens with suicide prevention.  On-line condolences may be made at:   www.omaddenfh.com.
