Dear Mary Jane and family, our sincere sympathy for your loss of Dan. As we've said many times whenever we'd see you in Windsor, we always enjoyed our meals at the Windsor Cafe, the food as well as the company of Dan, you and Brooke. Dan gave us his instructions on how to make BBQ ribs and we've made them many times since and think of him when we do. We're glad we knew him and he is missed.

Maryjane, so sad to read of Dan's passing. So many years have passed but remember what a great couple you were and Dan's great cooking. My first stuffed potatoes! May God keep you and your family during this difficult time.

Maryjane,Brooks my deepest sympathy goes out to you.I had not seen dan to talk town a long time. But when we did it was like i had saw him just yesterday. He once told me even if we didn't see each other. That we were friends for life. He truly was a incredible man. Loved his family, cooking and life. He never forgot were he came from and was always a simple man.You will be sorely miss by many. Rest in peace my friend.

The man taught me to love cooking (back in his ideal hospital days, then again in his little restaurant in Windsor). Although I could never dream of cooking like him, a little bit of his passion to cook rubbed off on me. Not to mention he was a heck of a boxer in his day!
Dan, I was just thinking about you a couple days ago ... God's speed my friend, you will be greatly missed!! And your sense of humor always makes me smile (just thinking about it).
MJ, he loved you more than I've ever seen any man love his wife, he always talked about you with pure love and devotion. God bless both of you!

Mary Jane, We want to let you know we are thinking of you and your family. Although I never met Dan I felt a part of your family through our talks. God Bless.
