I was saddened to hear of the passing of Doris. Whenever I saw her she was always smiling. Doris was a very kind and caring person. When my son was born she was working at the hospital at the time and she came to see me. She just seemed so happy for me and my family. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire White family and all of her friends. May the Lord give you comfort during this time of loss 2Cor.1:2-4. God Bless you all.....Willie Warren

She was one of my members at Curves!! Doris always walked in with a BIG smile on her face as bright as could be. She was a good friend listener and so warm hearted. She will be so missed by many who loved her.

I send my sincere condolences to you all. My thought and prayers are with you. I wish I could be there tomorrow to help support all of you, as your mom had supported me over the years. I will always remember the summers spent at Aunt Doris' with my cousin's. One thing I will never forget is the facial expression when she would say "The Clan", referring to the family, and her laugh after saying it. I am with you in spirit today, tomorrow and always. I'm here if you need to talk.

Love you all,
Chris

I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. Aunt Doris has always been a great combination of strength, faith, and humor. The first to gather people and say hello -- you could bet that her holiday card would be the first to arrive each year. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends -- Aunt Doris will be missed -- she leaves us all with great childhood memories of time with her on the farm.

Doris oriented me to nursing as a new graduate years ago, and I remember how skilled, experienced, loving ,patient she was to patients and co-workers.  I know she loved the Lord deeply and may she rest in peace.  Meg and the rest of the family are all in my prayers; may the Almighty Father guide you through these difficult times.

I was very saddened to hear of Aunt Doris' passing...She was a very gracious woman with a very warm and compassionte heart.  I can remember my 1st visit to Harpursville...meeting ALL the White's!  I was a bit nervous but Aunt Doris made me feel welcome and truly part of the family and thru the years did not hesitate to open her home to me and my family.  She will always hold a special place in my heart.

I am so sorry to hear of your Mother's untimely passing. Working up the grocery store with 3 of her children, I got to see Doris quite a bit. She always was such a cheerful person, we would joke when she would come in. I am sure her family and friends will miss her very much.
