Edward A. Mack, 89 of Harpursville & formerly of the Town of Fenton died Wed. Sept. 7, 2016.  He was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie B. Mack.  He is survived by his 5 children and their families, Edward D. Mack, Hornell, NY, Shirley A. & Paul Lech, DE, Nancy E. LeRoux, Augusta GA., Karen T. Mack & Gordon Ruckdeschel, Harpursville, Kenneth & Karen Mack, Endicott, his companion and dance partner, Ruth Butts, Afton, 9 grandchildren, 9 Great grandchildren, brother:  Raymond Alfred Mack, Calif., former son-in-law, Richard DeLand, Chenango Forks., and also several nieces and nephews.  He was a foster parent for over 10 years, was a retired employee of the Binghamton School District, member of the F & AM Windsor Lodge, member of the Boy Scouts, Eagle Scout with 3 palms (bronze, silver & gold), was a Navy Veteran of WW II and retired as a Major with the National Guard.

Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Sunday at 2 p.m.  Rev .Michael Brown of Three Pines Community Church Doraville will officiate.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Harpursville on Mon. at 2 p.m. with military honors.  The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Sun. from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to service.  On-lines condolences may be made at:    www.omaddenfh.com.
