Ellen E. Van Barriger, 80 of Port Crane passed away peacefully at home on Mon. evening Oct. 24, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones.  She was predeceased by her beloved Chester, sister, Phyllis Merritt and brother, George Gamble..  She is survived by her children, Theresa Drumm, Cheryl (Ben) Haskell, Robert (Cindy) Van Barriger, Suzanne (Lonnie Zimmer) Van Barriger, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sisters, Jackie Kovach, Carol Luce, and brother, Ric Gamble.  She was a longtime employee of Endicott-Johnson Corp. 

Funeral Services will be held at the Sanitaria Springs United Methodist Church on Fri. at 1p.m.  Burial will be in Port Crane Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Sanitaria Springs United Methodist Church on Fri. from 12 Noon to 1 p.m. prior to service.  On-line condolences may be made at:    www.omaddenfh.com.  Arrangements by the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville.
