James A. Meisel, 79 of Harpursville passed away Sunday evening Sept. 3, 2017 at Bridgewater Nursing Facility.  He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Cherie Y. Meisel, Harpursville, 3 children and their families, Cheryl & Phil Cicciarelli, Endicott, Randy & Cassie Gerdus, Binghamton, Gary R. Meisel, Harpursville, 2 grandchildren, Marianna & Chaz, sister & brother-in-law, Doris & Jack Holte, VA, brother & sister-in-law, Richard & Jane Meisel, FL, sister-in-law, Marilyn Meisel, VT and also several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Paul Meisel.  He was a retired employee of M. Gleason & Son, Inc. for 41 years.
