Of Nineveh

James T. Scott, 95 of Nineveh went to be with the Lord & many family members in Heaven on Friday Feb. 9, 2018 at Susquehanna Nursing Home.  He took great pride in his home, farm and family.  He is survived by his son, Gregg Scott of Nineveh, 7 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his wife, Audrey Scott, son, Barry Scott and daughter, Diane (Scott) Thomas.  He was a longtime member of the Nineveh Presbyterian Church.  Jim retired from Bendix Corp. in Sidney, was a member of the Afton Fair Board, Afton Sertoma for over 40 year with perfect attendance and was a Gentleman Farmer.

Funeral Services will be held at the Nineveh Presbyterian Church NY Rte. 7 on Tues. at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in Nineveh Presbyterian Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Mon. from 4 to 6 p.m.  Memorial Contributions may be made to:  St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org).  On-line condolences may be made at:   www.omaddenfh.com.
