Lena Elizabeth Pierce, 97 of Hallstead passed away Sunday morning Oct. 23, 2016 at her home.  She was predeceased by a son, David Capozzi, and ex-husband, Clarence E. Pierce.  She is survived by 5 daughters & sons-in-law, Clara Y& Bob Sterling, NC, Carol Van Horn, Montrose, Millie & Elmer Hawk, Windsor, Betty Morrell, FL, Marilyn Johnston, NM, 2 sons, Harold R. Pierce, Conklin, Clarence E. Pierce, Jr., NY, 26 grandchildren, many great & great great grandchildren., a sister, Dawn Hoag, Milford and also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Thurs. at 4 p.m.   Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Bainbridge at the convenience of the family.  The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Thurs. from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to service.
