Ruth E. Hauptmann, 87 of Harpursville went to be with the Lord on Sat. April 16, 2016.  She was predeceased by her husband, Paul J. Hauptmann Sr., daughter, Eleanor Granger, great grandson, Nicholas Rosario.  She is survived by her 3 children and their families, Lynn & Robert O’Neill, Harpursville, Paul J. & Joanne Hauptmann, Nineveh, Arthur G. Hauptmann & Bonnie Beck, Harpursville, a son-in-law, Dennis Granger Sr., Titusville, FL, 8  grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, 3 sisters-in-laws, and also several nieces and nephews.  She was a member of Nineveh Presbyterian Church, a retired clerk from Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and a member of the Eastern Broome Senior Center in Harpursville.  She loved to attend church and play bingo.

Funeral Services will be held at the Nineveh Presbyterian Church 2997 NY Rte. 7 on Wed. at 11 a.m.  Rev. Emrys Tyler, Pastor will officiate.  Burial will be in Perch Pond Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Tues. from 4 to 7 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to Nineveh Presbyterian Church Sanctuary Fund POB 115  Nineveh, NY  13813.   On-line condolences may be made at:   www.omaddenfh.com.
