Adele B. Stenson, 89 of Afton passed away Tues. evening Aug. 8, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.  She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph P. Stenson.  She is survived by her children and their families, Criss Gabriel, Tenn., Kathy & Eddie Crisafulli, NJ, Cynthia & Don Law, Afton, sister, Genevieve Pelech, Fairport, NY, brother, Edward Gancarz, North Caldwell, NJ, niece, Terri Armstrong, Fairport, NY, and also great nieces and great nephews..

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sidney.  Burial will be in prospect Hill Cemetery, Sidney.  The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Sun. from 2 to 4 p.m.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.   On-line condolences may be made at:   www.omaddenfh.com.
