Theodore M. “Ted” Shefler

Theodore M. “Ted” Shefler, 69 of Harpursville died unexpectedly Sat. evening Nov. 7, 2015 at his home.  He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Jane Shefler, 2 daughters, Lisa Shefler, Harpursville, Tanya Shefler & Ed Fisher, Chenango Forks, 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Vincent, Alisha, Brett, Eddie, & Mindy, 8 great grandchildren, two sisters, Deanna Shaver, Harpursville, Sheila (Stan) MacCumber, Harpursville, a sister-in-law, Brenda Andrews, Harpursville and also several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Shefler and parents, Foster & Georgia (Quick) Shefler.  Ted was retired from Harpursville Central Schools.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 1596 Harpursville and the VFW.  He was an US Army veteran of Vietnam.  He was a former employee of Goodrich Implement in Johnson City.
