Cheryl L. (Perchinsky) Burns, 61 of Harpursville went home to be with her Lord on Sat. Aug. 25, 2018.  She is survived by her husband, Brad Burns, Harpursville, 3 children, April & John Heflick, Columbia, SC, Andra & Katie Burns, Atlanta, GA, Evan & Gabi Burns, Pittsburgh, 4 grandchildren, Halena, Paul, Eli & Avi, 2 sisters, Donna Juriga, Harpursville, Michele (David) Maybach, Buffalo, and also several members of the Burns & Perchinsky families including nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew & Helen Perchinsky & her brother, Thomas Perchinsky.  She was a faithful and valued employee of Broome-Tioga BOCES for 30 years.  She was passionate about Jesus and a long-time member of Harpursville Baptist Church.

Memorial Services will be held at the Harpursville Baptist Church on Sat. Sept. 1, 2018 at 11 a.m.  Pastor Craig Schnurbusch will officiate.  Private burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Harpursville.  The family will receive friends at the Harpursville Baptist Church on Sat. from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harpursville Baptist Church 41 Cumber Road Harpursville, NY 13787.  Online condolences may be made at:   www.omaddenfh.com.  Arrangements by the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville.
