Cindy L.  (Spangenberg) Rowe, 54 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thurs. August 16, 2018.  She is survived by her husband of  17 years, Alan Rowe, Harpursville, her mother, Althea (Stanton) Spangenberg, Deposit, NY, her brother and sisters and their spouses, Stuart Spangenberg Jr. (Tricia De Santis), Binghamton, NY, Joy (John) Grainger, Deposit, NY, Tammy (Richard) Paul, Sherman, PA, and a very special niece, Brianna Grainger and a nephew David Mahon.  She is also survived by: Morris Jr. (Diane) Rowe, Otego, NY, Timothy Rowe & Pat Rowe, Laurens, NY, Sam Rowe, Oneonta, NY, Mark Rowe, Davenport, NY, and Drusilla Pitt, Delhi, NY, and she also sponsored a child, Jason from Mexico, as well as having several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Stuart Spangenberg Sr.  Cindy worked for Best Western Hotel in Johnson City, NY for 22 years as a Breakfast Room Attendant/Housekeeper. She also worked for Scott’s Oquagua Lake House, Deposit, NY for 20 years.  Cindy was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church in Deposit, NY. Cindy loved her church family and being involved in the weekly bible studies and coffee/social hour as well as the friendship dinners.  Her other interests included, baking, caring for children, sewing, and gardening.

Funeral Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Deposit on Fri. at 11 a.m.  Pastor Deb Bosket Arnold will officiate.  Burial will be in Balls Eddy Cemetery, Winterdale, PA.  The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Thurs. from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Fri. from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to service.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Cindy’s name to the First United Methodist Church 109 Second St. Deposit, NY 13754, or Ouaquaga Fire Dept.
