Donald G. Tyler, 74 of Harpursville went to be with his Lord on Mon. May 21, 2018.  He was predeceased by his son, Michael Tyler and brother, Gordon Tyler.  He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jane Tyler, 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Gary & Marie Tyler, Springfield Center, Brian & Jennifer Tyler, Harpursville, 8 grandchildren, Kyle, Cody, Caleb, Katriel, Curtis, Courtney, Kailee & Amber, sister, Carol Tyler, Harpursville, brother & sister-in-law, Robert & Mary Tyler, Troy and also several nieces and nephews.  He was retired from Chase Bank.  He was a life member of the Harpursville Fire Dept., Boy Scout Troop 180, and the Broome County Auxiliary Police.  He was a member of the Harpursville Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Sat. at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Harpursville.  The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Sat. from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to service.  Online condolences may be made at:  www.omaddenfh.com.  A special thank you to the staff on 5A at Bridgewater Nursing Facility for their loving care.
