I am just so sad. Doris was my friend, she was rock-solid. I can't imagine how much you, her dearly beloved family, are going to miss her. Thank you for letting me be a part of her life. I am going to miss her, too.

I am so sorry to hear of Doris' passing. I fondly remember her from so many events and times in Afton. At the hardware store especially. My condolences to you all. May the Lord wrap you in his loving arms.

Nancy and Dale,
I am at a loss about what to say. Your mom was my mother's dearest friend, I don't know what she would have done without Doris. They watched over each other, they went to church together, they went to church bazaars and concerts, and they would gossip...a lot! Going "back home" will not be the same without her. She was my second mom and I loved her dearly. I'm sure her and mom will be having a long chat in Heaven. Praying for all of you.
