Frank “Doc B” Biondolillo DDS
of Port Crane
Frank Biondolillo passed with peace and grace on Fri. December 21st at Mercy House following a brief illness. He leaves his wife of 25 years, Ann Townsend-Biondolillo, his favorite puppy Cassie, his children; Jim Biondolillo (Shelly), Lisa Biondolillo, Beth Beale, Jessica Beckley (Steve), Maggie Biondolillo, Donald Townsend (Cherri), Lynne Townsend, Douglas Townsend (Ginny), David Townsend (Lisa), Mary Jo Townsend-Wardell (Mike), 17 grandchildren, 3 great grand children and 1 great great grandchild, brothers, Richard and Roland Biondolillo, sister-in-law, Shirley Biondolillo and also several nieces and nephews. Born in Mt. Morris, New York in 1927 and upon graduation from Perry High School he went on to serve in the US Navy and earned a Purple Heart in World War II. After his service to the US Military he went onto earn a doctoral degree in dentistry in 1955 and oral surgery in 1959 from the University of Buffalo. He had a dental office in Harpursville, he taught at BCC School of Dental Hygiene, worked with Broome County School Dental Program and was a dentist for the Broome County Correctional Facility. Frank was an avid golfer. He was a longtime member of Silver Lake CC, Pelican Preserve CC, and the Belden Hill Golf Club. He was especially proud and took great pleasure in teaching his grandchildren Mckenzie, Mason, Ryan and Justin how to swing the club.
Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Wed. at 1 p.m. Rev. Robert Dwyer will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Wed. from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to service.
