Minerva J. Smith, 79 of Nineveh passed away Friday morning May 20, 2016 at her home.  She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Don Smith, Nineveh, brother & Sister-in-law, Robert & Cheryl Brink, Windsor, 2 nephews, Thomas & Stephen Brink, both of Jacksonville, FL, nieces and nephews, Sally Durisek, Cohoes, Richard & Vallory Smith, Ouaquaga, Larry & Vickie Smith, Windsor, Patti Ferber, Windsor, Stacy & Jennifer Smith, Harpursville and also several great nieces, great nephews and cousins and her faithful dog “Mickey.”.  She was the first Woman Editor in NYS at the Windsor Standard.  She was a member of the Birthday Club and shared many memories with all her friends.

Memorial Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Wed. at 11 a.m.  Pastor Sue Crawson-Brizzolara will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Wed. from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to service.  On-line condolences may be made at:   www.omaddenfh.com.
