I worked with Russ for about 20 years with Farm Family Insurance. He was so much fun to be around...he made you feel so at ease with life and its circumstances. We went on numerous trips and adventures with Russ and Grace all over the U.S.. We spent so much time laughing that our faces would hurt. Russ was loved by his clients...probably because he was so down-to-Earth and honest with them. Unfortunately, we are in California visiting our daughters and cannot attend the services. We wish Grace and his children and grandchildren Love & Peace at this time.

When someone we love dies, it leaves a hole in our hearts. This sorrow was felt by Jesus, Mary and Martha when Lazarus their brother died. Jesus said to Martha: “I am the resurrection and the life, He that exercises faith in me even though he dies, will come to life. Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” Then he proceeded to resurrect Lazarus and he promises to resurrect all those in the memorial tombs. Please read John 5:28,29 in your Bible and may this hope bring your family comfort.

I am so sorry for your loss. Russ was such a wonderful insurance person for us and so helpful in all ways. He was able to put my husband "at ease" during our tough time as I know he did for so many others as well. He was missed when he retired and now missed even more by all who loved him. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

So sorry to your whole family on the loss of Russell, he was such a good neighbor to my mom and dad, always remember his smile and wave when we would drive by as he and Grace would be out fixing fences, a great loss to the neighborhood. A man of such good character.
