Agnes Teresa Walsh McClure
Of Port Crane
On, Fri. Dec. 3, 2021, Agnes McClure joined the Lord in her heavenly home. Agnes Teresa Walsh McClure was born on November 16, 1925, in Brooklyn, NY to Roseanne McCoy Walsh and John J. Walsh. After high school, she worked at the New York Herald Tribune in the Advertising Dept. It was during this time that she met Ralph J. McClure, who was a Marine stationed at the Brooklyn Naval Yard. They married in 1944. Several years later, they relocated to the Binghamton area, where Agnes once again worked in the Advertising Dept., for the Binghamton Press. She was an Election Inspector for over 20 yrs., and a Lector for 25 yrs., at St. Joseph’s Church in Sanitaria Springs. She and Ralph operated a blueberry picking business at their home in Port Crane. They delighted in having friends and neighbors leave their yard with baskets of berries. Agnes was an avid reader, and poetry writer. Her love of family and friends earned her the title of “Sunshine Lady”, as she was always sending cards and letters of well-wishes. She loved all of nature, but especially dogs.
She was predeceased by her husband Ralph, her parents, her sisters, Rosemarie Walsh, Catherine Cannan, Mary Brown and Margaret McGinley and her brothers, John J. Walsh Jr., and Francis X. Walsh.

McClure (Trudy) of Hope Valley, RI. and daughter, Rosemary Hayes (Patrick) of Binghamton, NY. Also, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
