Bernice (Pangburn) Bosket, 92
Of Coventry
With sadness, we mourn the loss of our mother, Bernice (Pangburn) Bosket. Born in 1928, she lived through the depression and WW2, which shaped her into the person we all knew and loved. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Stella Pangburn, by her husband Avery, sons Clarence and Donald, grandsons Rex and Chris, sons-in-law Tom Sisk and Daniel Livermore. Also predeceased by her sisters Margaret, Marie, Gertrude, and brother Clifford, brother-in-law Kent. Bill Hall, her companion of 35 years also predeceased her.
Survived by her son Ed (Sally), daughters Faith Sisk, Gwen Hinman, Hope Livermore, Iris (Bill) Rupakus, Julie (Bill) VanBuren, and by Jim Stone, who she counted as another son. Daughters-in-law MaryAnn Bosket and Anne Bosket, sister-in-law Helen Raught, Bill's brother Howard (Gloria) Hall. Grandkids, Laurie, Tony, Donita, Fawn, Jackie, Eric, Duane, Eddie, Shawn, Maria, Michele, John, Rob, Jan, Seth, Ashley, Chad, Tracy, Amanda, Adam, Paul, HoneyLyn, and Hope. 56 great-grandkids and 19 great-great-grandkids. Many nieces and nephews that she loved.
Widowed young, mom raised all of us, then went to work as a home health aide for many years, work which she enjoyed very much. Mom was very proud of the many ribbons she won entering canned goods and baking in the Afton Fair. She even won best in show!
Mom loved spending time with all her grandkids, whether taking them to the pool, the park, or just having fun at home. They all have stories about grandma's love of pickles, onion sandwiches, ice cream, and corn-on-the-cob. Mom loved taking care of her family, garage sales and flea markets, scratch offs, and making new friends wherever she went.
We would all like to give a special thanks to our sister and brother-in-law Iris and Bill Rupakus for taking such great care of mom and allowing her to be home.
As per mom's wishes, there will be no funeral but a celebration of life at a later date.
If a person's wealth is measured by the people left behind, then mom was one of the richest people in the world.
