Betty R. Major, 77 of Ouaquaga passed away Mon. Jan. 31, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.  She was predeceased by her husband, William R. Major Sr. and a grandson, Ian Major.  She is survived by her children and their families, Lynne & Robert Anderson, Kansas, Raymond & Angela Major, Texas, Robert & Lorie Major, Endwell, William R. Major Jr., Ouaquaga, 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, brother, Robert Applegate, Hillcrest, and also several nieces and nephews.  She was also predeceased by her siblings, Bonnie Hill and Dick Applegate.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Ouaquaga Fire Dept.
