Betty R. Major
Of Ouaquaga
Betty R. Major, 77 of Ouaquaga passed away Mon. Jan. 31, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, William R. Major Sr. and a grandson, Ian Major. She is survived by her children and their families, Lynne & Robert Anderson, Kansas, Raymond & Angela Major, Texas, Robert & Lorie Major, Endwell, William R. Major Jr., Ouaquaga, 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, brother, Robert Applegate, Hillcrest, and also several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Bonnie Hill and Dick Applegate.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Ouaquaga Fire Dept.
A Memorial Luncheon will be held on Wed. Feb. 8, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Hitchin Post Restaurant NY Rte. 7 Port Crane. Online condolences may be made at: www.omaddenfh.com. Arrangements by the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville. A MADDEN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME.
