Carol E. VanHorn, 77 of Hallstead, PA died Sat. May 31, 2025.  She was predeceased by her husband, David E. VanHorn,  grandson, Clifford E. Shaver, her parents, Clarence E. Pierce & Lena Hartford, brothers, Harold Pierce & David Capozzi and a sister, Betty Morrell.

She is survived by her 5 children, David VanHorn, Betty Jo VanHorn, Tracy Briggs, Billie Jo VanHorn & Bobbie Jo (Jeff) Herbert,  17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Clara Sterling, Millie  (Elmer) Hawk, Marilyn Johnston, a brother, Clarence E. Pierce Jr. and also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Sun. at 1 p.m.  Rev. Sherry Clingerman, her granddaughter will officiate.  Online condolences may be made at:   www.omaddenfh.com.
