Chris A. Slocum

Of Harpursville

Chris A. Slocum, 73 of Harpursville passed away Tues. April 4, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.  He is survived by his wife, Margaret “Margie” Slocum, 3 children, Andrew (Natalie) Slocum, Kate (Michael) Hoiser, Gabriel (Kelsey) Slocum, 3 stepchildren, Michael Warner & girlfriend,  Billielee, Matthew  (Angie) Warner, Anthony Warner & partner, George, 10 grandchildren, Dylan, Mikayla, Collin, Christian, Annabelle, Hunter, Evan, Rachael, Gavin & Morgan, brother, Craig (Gina) Slocum, 2 sisters, Carla Bleckman & Gail (Francis) Schumeyer, and also several nieces and nephews and 3 good friends, Phil Horan, D.J. Snow & Brad Wallace.  He was a former bartender at the Hitchin Post.  He was an avid golfer.  He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

A Celebration of His Life will be held at the Fat Cowboy Hitchin Post on Route 7 on Sat. July 8, 2023 at 1 p.m.  Online condolences may be made at:   www.omaddenfh.com.  Arrangements by the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville.  A MADDEN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME.
