Clifford Lee Huyck - from Harpursville, NY, 87 years old passed away peacefully in his home with family after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Clifford was predeceased by his parents Paul & Lois Huyck along with his brothers & sisters. He is survived by his loving wife Eunice (Rowe) Huyck married 65 years and his three children & spouses Rusty & Karen Huyck, Kathy & Alan Newton, and Karen & Tom Sullivan, his grandchildren & their spouses Brandon & Tiffany, Alaena & Stefan, Graelen & Evan, and Spencer and Jasmine, step granddaughter and family, Tonya, Brian, and Nathan Hagerman, his 4 great grandkids Brycen, Ellie, Scarlett, and Achillia. Cliff graduated from Windsor High School and had a passion for dancing, football, & track. He worked 37 years for the Town of Colesville Highway, Dept. Through the years he enjoyed camping, traveling, playing cards, marbles, and spending time with his family & friends. He really enjoyed making the kids smile with magic & was a diehard Yankee fan. The family would like to give a special Thank You to niece Ruthie, longtime friend Lynwood, his buddy Nelson & his supportive friends & neighbors Eddie & Debbie, and Bruce & Donna. A big thanks to the hospice caretakers that took care of him.
Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Sat. at 1 p.m. Rev. Barbara Green & Pastor Sue Crawson-Brizzolara will officiate. Private burial will be in Perch Pond Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Sat. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to service.
