Daniel Leister, 75 made his final run on Friday Oct. 13, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.   He was the son of Robert & Jane (Hensler) Leister.  He is survived by his sons; Daniel, Jason, and daughter, Miriam, his grandson, Nolan, siblings, Robert, Jane Anne, and his baby sister, Lydia, niece, Amy and husband Leon, their 4 children, Jack, Ashley, Alexis & Joey, nephew, Josh and many other nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews along with many other family members and many “adopted” children and many close friends and his brother from another mother Chip and his wife Tammy!

He was a retired Trucker.  He loved his family, his Harley and every dog, especially Jessica.

A Celebration of His Life will be held at Berean Bible Church 996 County Rd. 39 Bainbridge, NY on Sun. October 15th at 2 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local animal shelter of your choice.   Online condolences may be made at:   www.omaddenfh.com.   Arrangements by the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville.   A MADDEN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME.
