Dannie A. Stevens, 82 of Harpursville died Sun. May 31, 2026 at his home.  He was predeceased by his wives, Pauline and Mary and a son, Joseph, granddaughter, Joelyn Sines and grandson, Garth Sines, step grandson, Dustin Cook.

He is survived by his children, Nancy Moffitt, Douglas Stevens, and Donna (Steve) Cutting, Sharron (Jeff) Zablocki, step children, Nancy (Jack) Lezotte, Karen Schuldt, Kristina Schuldt, Nickolaus Schuldt, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters, Betty (Red) Page, Doris (Rexford) Francisco, Bert Stevens, companion, Mary Fowler and family and also several nieces and nephews and his faithful dog, “Bella”.

He was a member and deacon of Bethel Chapel, Harpursville, and  a retired Carpenter throughout the area.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and US Army Veteran.

Funeral Services will be held at Bethel Chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Harpursville.  The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Thurs. from 4 to 7 p.m.  Memorial Contributions may be made to:  Bethel Chapel  POB 34/3486 NY-79 Harpursville, NY 13787.
