David Martin Knapp, age 68 of Harpursville, NY was welcomed into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Cynthia Knapp, his children Ian(Esther) Knapp and Victoria (Jesse) Benelli, grandchildren Owen, Wyatt, Hudson and Elys, sister Debbie (Steve) Gabert, niece Courtney (Charlie) Batchelor and many other loved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Jean Knapp Smith and father Herbert H. Knapp.

David’s strength and powerful presence could not be diminished through his hard fought battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered as a devoted family man, highly respected roofer, talented poet and colorful storyteller. His stories and memories continue to bring people together.

In that spirit, please attend a Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11:00am at the Conklin Avenue Baptist Church in Binghamton, NY. All will be welcome to share special memories of David.
