Dawn A. Sickler, 93 of Afton went to her heavenly home on Sat. Feb. 2, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel H. “Sam”, her son, Michael K. “Mike”.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra R. & James Lockwood, Pt. Crane, Cheryl Sicker, Afton, son, Mark S. Sickler, Afton, daughter-in-law, Debra Sickler, 4 grandchildren, Erin, Michael (Ashley), Scott & Samantha (Matthew), 8 great grandchildren, brother, Douglas “Lefty” (Millie) Lockwood, Afton, sister-in-law, Eleanor Lockwood, Oxford, sister, Linda Herrick, MD, and also several nieces, nephews and other family.
She was a lifetime member, elder, Sunday school teacher, choir director at Nineveh Presbyterian Church. She was a retired Head Bank Teller at NBT Bank and Treasurer at Nineveh Presbyterian Cemetery.
Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Fri. at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Nineveh Presbyterian Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Fri. from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to service.
