Debra A. Wheeler
Of Port Crane
Debra A. Wheeler, 71, of Port Crane passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Dean and Dorothy Ottaway and her sister, Leann Ottaway. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ron Wheeler of Port Crane, two daughters, Lauren and husband Jeremy Hreben (NJ) and Erin and husband Sean Keough (Hillcrest), three grandchildren, Jordan, Sydney and William, her sister, Michelle Ottaway (GA) and brother, Michael Ottaway (NYC), plus, numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Hillcrest and a retired employee of Chenango Valley School District.
The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home, located at 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Thursday, June 22nd from 5 to 7pm. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Friday, June 23rd at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Hillcrest at 10:00am.
