Diana 'Momo' Lynn Brew (Santi)

April 22, 1947-July 9, 2024

77 yrs. old

 Diana 'Momo' Lynn Brew (Santi)  passed unexpectedly at her family’s home in Harpursville, New York  from heart and COPD related complications on Tuesday July 9, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Marie Ippolito (Brew) of Avon, New York her father Harlan Duncan Brew of Caledonia, New York and her brother Harlan Wayne Brew of Windsor. New York. 

She is survived by her daughter Julie Ann Santi, Julie's boyfriend Chuck Barnes and his son's Kam and Kendel, Julie's step father Harold Eastman of Milpitas, California, her grandson Ernesto 'Jay' Garcia and granddaughter Alyssa Marie Ford, her brother Dennis Brew of Punta Gorda, Florida, her sister-in-law Donna Brew, her niece Tammie Lynn Brew Benning and spouse Gary Benning, nephews ,Todd James Brew and spouse Vicki Brew, Harlan Shawn Brew and spouse Jolynne Brew, Brandon and Heather Benning, Adam and Jesse Benning along with many great nieces and nephews

She was known to many by Di, Aunt Di, and Momo  She was born in Rochester, New York but grew up in the Windsor-Kirkwood area. As an adult she moved to Santa Clara and San Diego California and eventually Punta Gorda, Florida where she spent the last 30 years before moving to the Harpursville area in 2023. She had an extreme Love for animals especially cats. Stray animals seem to gravitate towards her knowing she was a kind heartfelt caretaker. She loved her Lord and savior, the beach, seashells, beautiful sunsets, seagulls, the mountains, big rocks, spending time and helping her family, game nights, thrift shopping, talking with her friends Michelle, Debbie, and Betty, reading her Bible, and telling people about the Lord. She lived by the motto "do the right thing even when no one is looking". She was a great mother, grandmother, ,daughter and friend. Life wasn't always easy but she always pushed through the hard times and encouraged others to do the same. She was very loved and touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed ❤

Graveside Services will be held in Knox Cemetery, Ouaquaga on Tues. at 2 p.m.  Rev. Ron Wenzinger will officiate.  Online condolences may be made at:   www.omaddenfh.com.  Arrangents by the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville.  A MADDEN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME.
