Frank L. Bauerle

Frank L Bauerle, 86, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 27, 2021 with his loving wife Joanne by his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry W. and Emily L Bauerle.  He is survived by sons Peter (Brenda), Andrew (Chrissy), and daughter Nancy (Brian); stepdaughters Julie (Rick), Joelle (Ken) and stepson Gary (Karen); grandchildren Emily, Adam, Joshua, Jennifer, Myranda, Thomas, Amber and Austin; step grandchildren Nathaniel, Samara and Nicholas; and 4 great grandchildren.  He started his career in banking and retired from the US Post Office. His real loves were his family, his beagle Gus, making maple syrup, reading everything possible about WWII, being a Mason, telling corny jokes and vacationing in Maine to eat lobster.  Although he struggled with many health issues, he always fought hard and bounced back. The family would like to thank Lourdes Hospice for their caring help at the end of his life.

Memorial Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Thurs. at 11 a.m.  Dr. Charles Colton of Conklin Presbyterian Church will officiate.  Burial will be in Knox Cemetery, Ouaquaga in the spring.  The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Thurs. from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to service.  F & AM Windsor Lodge will conduct a service at 11 a.m. prior to memorial service.  Online condolences may be made at:   www.omaddenfh.com.
