George J. Kolesar, 81 of Harpursville NY and formerly of Rahway, NJ passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 at his home.  He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elaine, a daughter, Laurie & Robert Huxford, Rahway, NJ, 4 grandchildren, Jason & Angel Freeman, Harpursville, Mark & Taylor Freeman, Spotswood, NJ, Megan & Kenny Hoffman, Cranford, NJ, Carly Huxford, Jersey City, NJ, 3 great grandchildren, Georgia, Claire & Griffin and also several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his daughter, Linda Freeman.  He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for Rahway Public Works in New Jersey for over 40 years.  George was an avid outdoorsman, fly fisherman and hunter.  George was a caring, loving man who cherished his family above all else. Anyone fortunate enough to get to know this man loved him dearly.

Memorial Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Sat.
