NINEVEH – Howard W. Dillingham Jr, 72, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Mercy House in Endicott, following a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Barbara (Thackray) Dillingham, Nineveh, son Kyle H. Dillingham, daughter-in-law Carmen Balbuena Dillingham, and granddaughter Amelie Ester Dillingham from Swampscott, MA. He also leaves behind a sister-in-law Theresa Dillingham and nephew Jared Dillingham, both from Phoenix, AZ, a brother Drew Dillingham and wife Adrienne, and an aunt, Midge Belz, all from the North Fork of Long Island. Two brothers pre-deceased Howard: Paul Dillingham of Windsor, NY and Wayne Dillingham of Long Island. Howard was a retired school teacher from the Southold School District in Southold, on the North Fork of Long Island. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fly-fishing the West Branch of the Delaware and bird hunting with the dogs he so loved.

Memorial Services will be held at the Nineveh Presbyterian Church on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11:00 am. Rev. Allen Presby will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street, Harpursville on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
