Jean Ann Maggio, 76 of Port Crane, NY passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025 peacefully surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of Cosmo Maggio of 54 years and her daughters Dawn Graham and husband Jeffrey Graham, Harpursville, NY, Jennifer Riga and fiancé Charles Riehle, Boykins, VA, four grandchildren Tyler Graham and wife Taylor Graham, Binghamton, NY, Payton Olecki and husband Samuel Olecki, Harpursville, NY, Brittnay Andersen Endicott, NY, Dakota Andersen, Boykins, VA, and two great-grandchildren Rylee Jade and Magnolia Olecki. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Betti (Don) Niles, Larry (Arlene) Noyes, Fletcher (Rosemary) Noyes, Ida (John) Knapp, Christine Sheridan, Milton Woodruff Jr. and also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jean was a strong-willed and a fighter throughout her life. Jean worked for and retired from Harpursville Central School, where she was loved and will be missed dearly. Jean loved being with her family while she was camping, baking, or just traveling and taking adventures for memories. She loved her great-grand babies as they were her life and joy, she will be missed.
Memorial Services will be held at Harpursville United Methodist Church on Sat. at 11 a.m. Pastor Rick Fisher will officiate. Private burial will be in Perch Pond Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Harpursville United Methodist Church on Sat. from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to service. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make contributions in Jean Maggio’s name to the Harpursville United Methodist Church POB 23 Harpursville, NY 13787.
