John J. Brown, 65 of Windsor passed away peacefully on Friday Sept. 22, 2023 at Wilson Memorial Hospital.  He was predeceased by his wife, Thelma “Beanie” and his father, Thomas J. Brown Jr.  He is survived by his mother, Leona K. Brown, Harpursville, 3 sisters & brothers-in-law, Donna & David Butcher, Kentucky, Carol & Michael DeLuca, New Berlin, Diane & Carl Lloyd, Rochester, special friends, Joann Harrison & Allen “Aldo” Shepherd, and many nieces and nephews.  He was owner of John’s Service in Harpursville for many years and a graduate of Harpursville Central Schools. 

Funeral Services will be held at Harpursville United Methodist Church on Wed. at 11 a.m.  Rev. Ron Wenzinger will officiate.  Burial will be in Knox Cemetery, Ouaquaga.   The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Tues. from 5 to 7 p.m.  Online condolences may be made at:   www.omaddenfh.com.
