John A. Garrigan, 87 of Harpursville passed away on March 29, 2023 after an extended illness.  He was the son the late, John G. & Hope (Athorp) Garrigan of Chenango Bridge.  He leaves behind, 2 brothers, David Garrigan of Kenosha, Wisc., Richard & Karen Garrigan, Deposit, 2 daughters, Theresa & Gary  Shaffer, E. Petersburg, PA, Patti Menhennett of Hancock, 2 grandchildren, Hope Gerchman, David & Elsie Gerchman, 5 great grandchildren, John, Madison, Gabriel, Liberty and David.

He was a retired employee of Singer-Link Corp.  He was a member of the US Naval Reserves.  He was a member of North Fenton United Methodist Church, and considered Readburn Assembly of God Church in Fish’s Eddy, his second church family.

Memorial Services will be held at North Fenton United Methodist Church 5984 NY Rte. 79 Chenango Forks on Sat. June 17, 2023 at 11 a.m.  Rev.
