Joseph A. Benfatta, 95 of Harpursville died Sun. April 27, 2025 at his home.  He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Betty, 6 sons, Joseph & Debbie Benfatta Jr., Nineveh, Carlo & Carol Benfatta, Harpursville, Anthony & Kathy Benfatta, Venice, FL, Roger Benfatta, South Portland, Maine, Thomas Benfatta, Binghamton, Christopher Benfatta, Harpursville, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister, Pauline Ferrante, Stony Point, NY and also several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

He was a retired Contractor and also a US Army Veteran.

Family was most important to him, the number one thing to him.

Memorial Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Friday at 12 Noon.  Rev. Mike Rowe will officiate.  Burial will be in Perch Pond Cemetery at a later date.  The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Fri. from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon prior to service.  Online condolences may be made at:   www.omaddenfh.com.
