Joyce E. Closs, 75 of Afton passed away Wed. Oct. 24, 2018 at Wilson Memorial Hospital.  She was predeceased by her husband, Charles C. Closs.  She is survived by her children, Christina Closs & John McDermott, Afton, Diahanna & Jeffrey Deuel, VA, Charles & Heather Closs, Kirkwood, Kathryn Closs & Donnie Cason, Johnson City, Harry & Lois Closs, Norwich, Nancy Stevens, Johnson City, 5 grandchildren, Carl, Justyce, Derek, Samantha, C.J., 1 great grandchild, Benjamin, her brother, William Stevens & Ruth Ann, Sidney, sister, Marlese McGowan, S. New Berlin, brother-in-law, Henry Closs, Walton and also several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at the Afton VFW Post 3529 187 Main Street Afton on Sat.
