Joyce E. Hoyt, 82 of N. Colesville passed away on Friday June 2, 2023, surrounded by her family.  She was predeceased by her 2 daughters, Tracie Jean Livermore and Ann Marie Grant.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Don Hoyt, N. Colesville, her children, Lynda Hoyt (Mike Carpenter), Port Crane, Doug (Pat) Hoyt, Dryden, Brad (Lori) Hoyt, Harpursville, son-in-law, Ed Livermore, 11 Grandchildren: Stephanie, Spencer (Kait) & Taylor (Caleb), Mark, Katie, Connor, Alex, Kayleigh, Mitchell, Abbie & Riley, 5 great grandchildren, sister: Norma Braman, West Winfield, brother: Howard Bronson, Sanitaria Springs, brother-in-law David (Alice) Hoyt, Port Crane, and several nieces and nephews.

Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother with many friends.  Dylan (her great-granddaughter) held a special place in her heart as she raised her from a young age.  She also enjoyed a special bond with her niece, Laurie.

Joyce enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino with her daughter Ann.  She loved crocheting, quilting and painting items for family and friends.  She was a great cook and also a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.  Her greatest joy was her family.

Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Tuesday, June 6th at 1 p.m.  The family will receive friends from 11 – 1, prior to services.  Burial will be in New Ohio Cemetery, Tunnel at the convenience of the family.  Online condolences may be made at:   www.omaddenfh.com.
