Linda Louise passed away on Wed. November 13, 2024 after sharing a beautiful life with 5 children, 16 grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren.  Linda was predeceased by her father, William Maynard Gabriel, and her mother, Eloise Marie (Gates) Gabriel; her sisters, Ileta Pangburn, Carol Arnold, Paula Gabriel; her brother, William Ward Gabriel; her grandsons, Nathan LaBarre and William Finch, her son-in-law, Fred Sarauw; and former son-in-law, Russell LaBarre.  Other loved ones include Gertrude Pickard (foster-mother) and Rachel Beriman (foster-sister).

Linda is survived by her five children: Michelle (Donald) Button, Sharon Sarauw, Misty-Lou (Jeff) Finch, Ileta LaBarre (D.J. Snow), and Joseph Devine III (Linda Bennett).  She leaves behind 14 grandchildren: Matthew LaBarre, Donald Button Jr., Deeanna Button, Katie Bailey, Charlene Sarauw, Ashley Finch, Elizabeth LaBarre, David Sarauw, Leah Schultes, Macaulay Finch, Danielle Jacobs, Jacob LaBarre, Joshua Devine, and Cainan LaBarre and 32 great grandchildren. Her three sisters, Altheda Hagle, Bernice Ripic, and Thomasine Day; foster-brother John “Butch” (Francis); nephew, Kenneth (Kim) Pickard; and life-long friends, Carrie (Steve) Warner and Dave (Sue) Lewis, will help cherish her memory.

Linda Louise will be remembered for her generosity, kindness, and loving, hard-working nature.  She was well known for the warm heartedness in which she welcomed all those who needed it into her home.  She will forever be remembered as Ma, Ma Devine, Mom, Grandma, GG, and Linda. 

Many thanks to those who provided medical care and comfort in her remaining days.

A Celebration of Her Life with a memorial and lunch will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Belden Hill Golf Course at 1 p.m.  Fellowship will follow the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Guthrie Lourdes Hospice 4102 Vestal Rd.
