Marieta E. Sowden, 86 of Susquehanna, PA died Tues. March 26, 2024.  She was predeceased by her parents, John & Nina (Bailey) McKinney, husband, William Sowden, son-in-law, Donald Swartz and brother-in-law, Walter (Skip) Lindemuth.

She is survived by her daughter,, Stacy L. Schwartz, son, David W. (Eve) Schwartz, step daughter, Holly (Jeff) Zembek and Avery, brother, Melvin G. (Leta) McKinney, sisters, Jonyca McKinney & Doreen Cannon, sister-in-law, Sandy Lindemuth and also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marieta worked at GE Aerospace and Lockheed Martin.  She loved her family, loyal poodle Keesha, American Indian culture and the farm she grew up on.  She enjoyed ceramics, crocheting and gardening.
