Olin H. Schermerhorn

Olin H. Schermerhorn 72 of Harpursville  died unexpectedly Thursday November 10th, 2022.  He was predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Floyd “Chub” Schermerhorn, brothers, Charles Noyes, Francis “Butch” Noyes, sister Gail (Noyes) Northrup.  
 He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sherrie Schermerhorn, son Todd (Dawn) Schermerhorn, daughter Teresa Schermerhorn. grandchildren Dante Ruffo, Jacob “Sam” Andrews, Fiona Schermerhorn, great grandson Jaxon Andrews, and 3 generations of nieces and nephews.
 He was a Harpursville Central School graduate of 1969, and a BOCES auto body/mechanic graduate. He helped anyone who needed it! A loving husband, father and grand father-just did it in his own way!  He was a 15 year member of the Harpursville Fire Department, a member of the grumpy old man club, and the unofficial/official mayor of Harpursville.

Memorial Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Friday Nov. 18, 2022 at 6 p.m.  The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to service.  Online condolences may be made at:  www.omaddenfh.com.
