Patricia A. “Patti” Buckler, 74 of Harpursville passed away unexpectedly on Thurs. Dec. 16, 2021.  She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ron, her children, Owen (Jen), Jeff (Theresa), Jacqueline (Brad), 2 grandsons, Seth & Andrew, granddaughter, Hannah, her siblings, Jean (Corky) Rogers, Shirley (Ken) Finch, Penny (Frank) Shaver, Stephen (Michelle) Knapp, John (Ida) Knapp, James (Cheryl) Knapp and also several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her sister, Gloria (Tom) Darpino.

She was a life member of Harpursville Fire Dept., dispatched for many years prior to 911 and served 20 years as treasurer.   She was a life member Harpursville Firefighter’s Axillary, Harpursville American Legion Auxiliary Unit 1596, former School Board Member of H.C.S./Tax Collector, former employee of Maine’s Paper & Food and Modern Marketing Concepts.  She was proprietor of OJJ Grocery in Harpursville.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church Maple Street, Harpursville on Sat. April 23, 2022 at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Harpursville at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Harpursville Fire Dept.  POB 98 Harpursville, NY  13787.  Online condolences may be made at:  www.omaddenfh.com.
