Peggy E. Betker
Of Harpursville
Peggy E. (Pratt) Betker, 76 of Harpursville passed away on Tuesday June 27, 2023 at Wilson Memorial Hospital, after an extended illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Roland Pratt and Edith Gott Pratt. Peggy is survived by her sister Marcia Pratt Lyon of Gallatin, TN, two nieces, Sarah Lyon McNair (Lee) of Hendersonville, TN and Kara Lyon Freebern (Michael) of Gallatin, TN and one nephew, Andrew Lyon (Natalie) of Gallatin, TN and 8 grand-nieces and grand nephews.
Peggy worked for many years at Flextronics International as a quality assurance inspector. She maintained many life-long friendships with her co-workers.
Peggy was a fan of NASCAR, golf, playing the slots and her TV was almost always tuned to QVC. She was fun-loving and sported a rose tattoo she got in Nashville for her 60th birthday. She enjoyed going out for rides and a nice lunch or dinner; usually with her cousins Sally or Patty. Coincidentally, Sally passed the same day as Peggy and they took their final ride together.
The family would like to extend thanks and gratitude to Theresa Buckler for the care she gave to Peggy and also many thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at Wilson Hospital.
