Sherry S. Faiella, 67 of Nineveh went to be with our Lord on Saturday, Dec. 4th, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.  She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Nick Faiella, 5 children, Somer Balch, Nick Faiella Jr., Maria Aiken, Mark Faiella, Sherry S. Faiella. She had 11 grandchildren, Dakota, Noah, Christian, Jaeden, Lily, Levi, Daisy, Dylan, Angelina, Elijah, Milani, and 2 great grandchildren, Paisley & Clayton, her mother, Caroline Florance, and her siblings, Gary, Nancy, Kathy, Daniel, Ronald & Mark.  She was predeceased by her son, Steven Demeree and her father Robert Florance. 

Sherry was passionate about her flower gardens and spent much of her time with her dog and best friend Zoey. She spent much of her life as a loving mother. She was not only a mother to her own children,but helped raise and love many other children as her own. She was a follower of the Catholic faith. She taught her children about God’s love and the importance of putting Him first. She was very passionate about her family and having traditions, especially around the holidays that she loved. She is now in a better place, finally reunited with her loving son that she lost so many years ago. May her passing bring us closer together and may we carry on knowing that she is a part of all of us. 

Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Fri. at 11:30 a.m.  Pastor Craig Schnurbusch will officiate.  Burial will be in Nineveh Presbyterian Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Fri. from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. prior to service.  Online condolences may be made at:   www.omaddenfh.com.
