Silas Rosslyn “Ross” Culver, 86 of Harpursville passed away Fri. March 24, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Culver, Harpursville, 3 children and their families, Kevin & Helen Culver, Chenango Forks, Vicky Soos, Harpursville, Terry & Suzanne Soos, FL, 6 grandchildren, Adaline & Avonlea, Jennifer & Adam, Chris & Curtis, 5 great grandchildren and also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brother, David and a grandson, Casey. He was a retired employee of UHS. After retirement he stayed busy by driving school bus, being a realtor, and cleaning the Town Hall in Colesville and the Senior Center. He was a member of the Alumni Board at Harpursville Central Schools. He was a US Army veteran.
Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Thurs. 6 p.m. Pastor Craig Schnurbusch of Harpursville Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Harpursville at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Thurs. 4:30 to 6 p.m. prior to service.
