Virgil P. Wood, 79 of Harpursville passed away Mon. Feb. 27, 2023.  He was predeceased by his wife, Kathryn E. Wood.  He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Patricia & Stephen Ansley, his brothers and sisters and also several nieces and nephews.

He was a retired machinist from Anitec. Corp.  He was a member of the Greene Rod and Gun Club.  He enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and especially golf.
