William Kendall Baird IV born on May 28, 1929 died peacefully at his home on Wed. Jan. 23, 2019.  He was predeceased in death by his Wife of 47 years Wanda (Betty) in 2007 and his sister Leah Baird Lamphier 2010.  He is survived by his 3 children and their spouses William (Billy) Kendall Baird V and Rosemary Posson Baird,  Elizabeth (Beth) McIntyre and Patrick McIntyre and Constance (Connie) Livingston and Terry Livingston. He had 5 grandchildren; Matthew and Ryan Pavlik and  Bryn, Grant and Laine McIntyre.  He is also survived by his nephews and a niece Robert (Chip) Lamphier, Susan Lamphier and Mark Lamphier.  He was born in Fairfield Connecticut to William and Eva May (Bocock) Baird.  He served in the US Army during the Korean War.  He worked for GE and IBM as a tool and die maker and retired from IBM in December 1990. He loved nothing better than horse racing, cigars and chocolate ice cream. He was cared for in his last years by his faithful caregiver Robyn McCants who made his last years comfortable and happy.

Graveside Services will be held at the Floral Park Cemetery in Johnson City in the spring.
