Zachary S. Madden, 28 of Binghamton died unexpectedly on Thurs. Oct. 9, 2025 at his home. He is survived by his parents, Gerald & Suzanne Madden, his 2 brothers and sister, Kevin T. Madden, Nicole E. Madden, Ryan J. Madden, his grandmother, Patricia Gaughran and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other family. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Binghamton and a Computer Hardware Technician for Broome County. He was a graduate of SUNY Broome and BHS Class of 2015. Zach was a loyal supporter of BFD Stair Climb, had a love for craft beers and breweries and was a big helper to all the Duane Ave. neighbors. He was known in the gaming world as “TheIronMadden”. He attended many gaming conventions across the country where he made many friends. Zach shared a special bond with his Mom, being there when needed most.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick’s Church 9 Leroy St. Binghamton on Tues. at 11 a.m. Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
