I will remember Carolyn for her kindness, and gentle sense of humor. We graduated together and she was the appropriate choice for Miss Pine Grove High School. Our visits continued occasionally when I was in the area and she always welcomed our visit with warmth and acceptance. Once when I visited, I was very quiet because I had something on my mind that day. She looked across the room at me and then moved to the lamp beside my chair and switched it on. This was just like Carolyn. No one else recognized my distance but her. She merely tried to make it better by giving me a little extra light. To her daughters: You are incredibly blessed to have had this One to guide and raise you. And to her son in law, Carolyn felt so lucky to have you and she always acknowledged with gratefulness how you treated her with such care. Carolyn set examples by the way she lived her life. She will be missed. Yvonne Thompsos & Joyce Chavers
